PGV consists of two runways and covers just under 1,000 acres, and is serviced daily by US Airways Express through Charlotte. Travelers can find many convenient services at PGV, including: a comfortable boarding lounge, vending and concessions area, free WiFi, complimentary meeting facilities, convenient parking, several onsite rental car agencies, and more. PGV has also has a thriving general aviation sector and services many private customers.

The G.K. Butterfield Transportation Center is a centrally located transfer facility where all local and regional transportation services can connect. The Greenville Area Transit system (GREAT Bus System), Pitt Area Transit (PATS), ECU Transit, and Greyhound each utilize the facility for connections, along with taxis and the Amtrak Connector. 

The Center provides a covered transfer facility with seating, restrooms, 205 parking spaces, and more, giving people a choice of transportation options to fit their needs and meet the needs of our growing population for the next 20-30 years.

GREENVILLE AREA TRANSIT (GREAT) BUS SYSTEM

GREAT is owned and operated by the City of Greenville as the Transit Division of the Public Works Department.

Current service hours are 7:25 a.m. — 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is no Saturday or Sunday service at this time.

There is also no service on the following holidays:

New Years  Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

AMTRAK SHUTTLE

Amtrak Station Code: GRN

This curbside bus stop is located at the G.K. Butterfield Transportation Center in Downtown Greenville. The AMTRAK Throughway Bus Shuttle travels between Greenville (GRN) and the Wilson, NC (WLN) AMTRAK Train Station.

DIRECTIONS FROM CHARLOTTE

Take I-85 North through Greensboro. In Greensboro stay on I-85 North and 40 East. Take 85 North/40-East through Burlington. Then take I-40 East at the 40-85 split towards Raleigh. Stay on I-40 past the RDU Airport exits and then look for the Wade Avenue exit. Take Wade Avenue to the Raleigh Beltline (440 North). From the beltline, take the 64 East exit. (Wilson/Rocky Mount/Greenville) At the 64/264 split, take 264 East towards Wilson and Greenville. Continue on 264 East, which will take you directly into Greenville. Once in the city limits 264 East will become Stantonsburg Road.

DIRECTIONS FROM GREENSBORO/WINSTON-SALEM AND POINTS WEST

Take I-40 East through Burlington to the 40-85 split towards Raleigh. Take 40-East continuing on I-40 past the RDU Airport exits and then look for the Wade Avenue exit. Take Wade Avenue to the Raleigh Beltline (440 North). From the beltline, take the 64 East exit (Wilson/Rocky Mount/Greenville). At the 64/264 split, take 264 East towards Wilson and Greenville. Continue on 264 East, which will take you directly into Greenville. Once in the city limits 264 East will become Stantonsburg Road.

DIRECTIONS FROM RALEIGH/DURHAM

From the beltline, take the 64 East exit. (Wilson/Rocky Mount/Greenville) At the 64/264 split, take 264 East towards Wilson and Greenville. Continue on 264 East, which will take you directly into Greenville. Once in the city limits 264 East will become Stantonsburg Road.

DIRECTIONS FROM I-95 NORTH/SOUTH

From I-95, take exit 119A (Exit will say Wilson/Greenville), which will put you on 264 East, which will take you directly into Greenville. Once in the city limits this will become Stantonsburg Road.

DIRECTIONS FROM I-40 (SOUTHEASTERN, NC)

Take I-40 West to NC 11 North. Stay on NC 11 North through Kinston and into Greenville. Once you are in the city limits NC 11 North will become Memorial Drive.

DIRECTIONS FROM 13 NORTH (NORTHEASTERN NC)

Take 13 South by-passing the town of Bethel and continue into Greenville. Route 13 South will adjoin with Route 11 South once you are in Greenville. Once you are in the city limits this will become Memorial Drive.

DIRECTIONS FROM ELIZABETH CITY

Take 17 South to 64 West. Continue on 64 West to 13 South, which is the Bethel/Greenville exit. Take 13 South bypassing the town of Bethel and into Greenville. Route 13 will adjoin with Route 11 South once you are in Greenville. Once you are in the city limits this will become Memorial Drive.

DIRECTIONS FROM MOREHEAD CITY/CRYSTAL COACH BEACHES

Take 70 West to 43 North through New Bern and Vanceboro and into Greenville. Once you are in Greenville 43 North becomes Charles Boulevard.

DIRECTIONS FOR THE OUTER BANKS

Take 64 West across Roanoke Island onto the mainland.

Continue on 64 West to 13 South, which is the Bethel/Greenville exit. Take 13 South bypassing the town of Bethel and into Greenville. Route 13 will adjoin with Route 11 South once you are in Greenville. Once you are in the city limits this will become Memorial Drive.
