A Time for Science-Greenville Center is a local, nationally-recognized science and technology learning center and museum that collaborates with local and regional universities, colleges, school systems, and industry partners to provide a variety of hands-on exhibits, science camps, science cafes, science fairs, a STEAM collaborative, and e-mentoring programs to ignite kids interest and engage in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and arts (STEAM) in educational and fun ways! In addition to the ATFS-Greenville Center in the Uptown Greenville District, the A Time for Science Grifton location features Uptown Greenville location features 380 acres of Bray Hollow Conservancy lands in southern Pitt County, right at the juncture of Pitt, Lenoir, and Greene Counties. ATFS Grifton offers 5K’s and trail runs, kayaking, astronomy programs at the on-site Chia-yu Li Planetarium, nature classes, and much more!
