Ford + Shep is part speak-easy, due to its unconventional front entrance that snakes down a monochromatic hallway, and part California modern. An old teller building has been transformed into an outdoor bar connected to the main building by means of a glass conservatory space that allows for year-round outdoor dining. A fenced patio will also feature a 15-foot fireplace with comfortable outdoor furniture. A globally inspired, small menu devised by owner Chef Brandon Qualls features as many locally sourced ingredients as possible and will change every few days to keep things fresh. An urban garden scape on the property provides herbs and produce for both bar and kitchen menus.
