If you want a family-friendly gathering:
The event of the night will be the iconic Emerald Drop in Town Common hosted by the City of Greenville! This can't-miss community event will be happening from 9pm until midnight at the Greenville Town Common, and will feature a beer garden, food trucks, photo booths, live music from Eight Past Midnight, and fireworks at midnight!
If you want to get your party on:
Greenville boasts a fantastic nightlife scene, and this New Years is no different! Venues all over Downtown will open, all within walking distance if you wish to move from bar to bar throughout the night!
Several businesses will be hosting special events such as Pitt Street Brewing Company and Dirty Dans! At Pitt Street Brewing Company, get your groove on at their 24K NYE Party! This themed party is inspired by the Austin Powers movie Goldmember. So strap on your best groovy outfit for the costume contest and enjoy their new beer releases! Dirty Dan's is hosting their Dirty NYE Bash featuring a $1,000 cash drop at midnight! This event will have live music by Highway Miles and DJ Carrie Keller.
If you want to ring in the year with music:
As usual, there is no shortage of live music in Greenville! The State Theatre is hosting a NYE Celebration featuring Suicide Blonde, an 80's Intervention. Where you can dance all night to your favorite throwback songs! For a country vibe, head to Buccaneer Music Hall with live music from Jake Sutton and Eric Wayne, and ring in the New Year with some of your favorite line dances. For a more casual experience, the Boneyard will be performing at AJ McMurphy's, playing songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's!
